Holidays in East Coast

Went to places in east coast with my family and my aunt's family... It was a 5 days 4 nights trip. Had a really fun time.Enjoyed ourselves there.

Thursday-25/12/08 (Christmas day)
Started our journey at 9.15am. Really excited, didn't sleep throughout the whole journey. (shocked right?? Since I love sleeping)
Stopped at Karak to have lunch around 11.15 am. Had fried rice....& durian cake.
Reached Kuantan at 2pm. Visited all my mum's cousins and aunties in Kuantan. We went from house to house to do some visiting. Visited 3 houses altogether before we headed to a restaurant in Kuantan to have dinner. They made a reservation for 3 tables (now you can imagine the amount of us). After dinner we headed to another relative house (she were the one who paid for our dinner). We (the teenagers and the smaller children) played 'killer' at her house.
Around 9pm, we had another 1 hour drive to Awana Kijal. After checking in, we cleaned ourselves up and started a game of monopoly. We slept around 1 pm. We children had to sleep in the living room cause there was only to rooms in an apartment. My aunt and uncle took 1 room while my mum and dad took the other room.

Friday-26/12/08 (Boxing day)
Went to the beach first thing in the morning. The wave was really strong as it was a monsoon season.
Walked to a coffee shop nearby to have breakfast. I had roti telur and a cup of hot coffee.
After breakfast, we went swimming. The water is freezing cold. Had an enjoyable time at the pool.

My cousins, sis and I

Started our journey to Kota Baru. Stopped at The Wee's restaurant to had lunch. Continued the long journey, a 5 hour drive journey(excluding stopping here and there). On the way there, we saw lots of beautiful scenery, including 2 extremely clear rainbows. (1 of it is even an half circle rainbow). It's like a painting (really beautiful).

The half rainbow (not complete)

The clearest rainbow I captured using my camera

two rainbows together (not clear)

Guess What??
It is SNOWING in MALAYSIA

just kidding
It was the raindrops on my father's car's windscreen

Continued our journey, we reached around 7.30pm. We went to my grandaunt's 'hotel' and she offer us a night there. Actually the hotel is rented out to workers and salesman.... My grandaunt stays there too. To be honest, it looks really rundown. We actually planned to turn down the offer and stay in Renaissance Hotel or other hotels...but unfortunately they were all fully book. (so bad of us) Spend a night there..
