Continuing from the previous post

Saturday-27/12/08
Got up really early (about 7am). Had breakfast at HAYAKI. The service there is kind of poor. The keep giving us the wrong order. Anyway, I had........

Nasi Dagang & Iced coffee

Went back to hotel to took our stuff. Get ready to go Golok, Thailand to visit my Grandpa.

the 'hotel', my cousins, sisters and I
It was a 1 hour drive from Kota Baru to Golok. After parking our car, we sat my grandaunt's car into Golok cause a Kelantan car is easier to pass through the custom. My aunt's family have to stay in Rantau Panjang because they forgot to bring their passports. After passing through the custom, we headed to the market, the place where my grandpa usually hang out. My grandpa is 81 this year but he is still strong. He uses his legs to travel from one place to the other unlike us, we uses car. After that, we went to his house to get his passport. We had lunch in Golok. Guess what we had for lunch?? Frogs......... Didn't took any pictures cause there was something wrong with our camera. My mum actually step on dog poo twice in Golok. Was that her 'lucky' day???
After lunch, my grandpa, grandaunt and my family went back to Rantau Panjang to get our car.
Visit the sleeping buddha.......
Had dinner. Since it was a tiring day and it was dark, so we spent another night in Kota Baru, my grandaunt's so call hotel.

Sunday-28/12/08
Had breakfast with my grandpa around 7.30am.
Headed back to Awana Kijal. Another 5 hours drive.
Went straight to the swimming pool after reaching. Had a fun time at the pool (again).
Get ready to have dinner.
Walked to a restaurant nearby to have dinner.
After dinner, walked around the hotel to burn our fat..(Mission FAILED)
Went back to have another game of monopoly.
Monday-29/12/08
Had Maggie Mee for breakfast.
Had a fun time in the pool (again) x2.
Went to the market to buy Nasi Dagang. This was the conversation of the seller and I.
ME: Ada Nasi Dagang tak??
THE SELLER: Tak ada la, madam.
ME: Saya bukan madam la
THE SELLER: Nasi Dagang pagi la, leng lui.
ME: OKLA, AH PEK.

Actually I created this conversation myself. =.="
We went from stall to stall to ask for Nasi Dagang and we got 2 packets in return. Had lunch in Restaurant Duyong (beside the BEACH).
Started our journey back home (KLANG).
Althought it was kind off a hectic holiday, travelling here and there, but I had a really fun time.

Holidays in East Coast

Went to places in east coast with my family and my aunt's family... It was a 5 days 4 nights trip. Had a really fun time.Enjoyed ourselves there.

Thursday-25/12/08 (Christmas day)
Started our journey at 9.15am. Really excited, didn't sleep throughout the whole journey. (shocked right?? Since I love sleeping)
Stopped at Karak to have lunch around 11.15 am. Had fried rice....& durian cake.
Reached Kuantan at 2pm. Visited all my mum's cousins and aunties in Kuantan. We went from house to house to do some visiting. Visited 3 houses altogether before we headed to a restaurant in Kuantan to have dinner. They made a reservation for 3 tables (now you can imagine the amount of us). After dinner we headed to another relative house (she were the one who paid for our dinner). We (the teenagers and the smaller children) played 'killer' at her house.
Around 9pm, we had another 1 hour drive to Awana Kijal. After checking in, we cleaned ourselves up and started a game of monopoly. We slept around 1 pm. We children had to sleep in the living room cause there was only to rooms in an apartment. My aunt and uncle took 1 room while my mum and dad took the other room.

Friday-26/12/08 (Boxing day)
Went to the beach first thing in the morning. The wave was really strong as it was a monsoon season.
Walked to a coffee shop nearby to have breakfast. I had roti telur and a cup of hot coffee.
After breakfast, we went swimming. The water is freezing cold. Had an enjoyable time at the pool.

My cousins, sis and I

Started our journey to Kota Baru. Stopped at The Wee's restaurant to had lunch. Continued the long journey, a 5 hour drive journey(excluding stopping here and there). On the way there, we saw lots of beautiful scenery, including 2 extremely clear rainbows. (1 of it is even an half circle rainbow). It's like a painting (really beautiful).

The half rainbow (not complete)

The clearest rainbow I captured using my camera

two rainbows together (not clear)

Guess What??
It is SNOWING in MALAYSIA

just kidding
It was the raindrops on my father's car's windscreen

Continued our journey, we reached around 7.30pm. We went to my grandaunt's 'hotel' and she offer us a night there. Actually the hotel is rented out to workers and salesman.... My grandaunt stays there too. To be honest, it looks really rundown. We actually planned to turn down the offer and stay in Renaissance Hotel or other hotels...but unfortunately they were all fully book. (so bad of us) Spend a night there..

'Tung Yuan'

Made 'Tung Yuan' around 9pm last Sunday.. Guess I am an expert at it already, so want to learn from me??
Ok, first go and buy a packet of glutinous rice flour.

Next, pour some of the flour into a bowl. (any amount you like)

Then, pour some water into the bowl of flour.

After that, use your hands to mix the flour and the water until it is even enough to form a dough.

The perfect dough

Make the dough you made just now into small cute balls or any shaped you want. (Small cute balls are highly recommended)

Boil a pot of sugar water. After that, put the small little balls into the pot.

Boil the thing for 8-10 minutes.

After boiling, it is ready to be served..

Looks yummy right??

So try it yourself at home, but try at your own risk. Don't come and find me after you burn down your house. :P

*Wrinkly Hand*
This heart represents my love towards the readers of this blog.
I made it all by myself :P

Angus, thongs and perfect snogging

Sis: Have you snog a guy before???
Me: Ya, of course.....in my dreams =.="

My family and I watched the movie Angus, thongs and perfect snogging on the 20th of December in Sunway Pyramid. It is a British Comedy film and the actors and actresses have really strong British slang.

This is how the show is like:
On the first day of the school year Georgia (Georgia Groome) and her friends, Jas (Eleanor Tomlinson), Ellen (Manjeeven Grewal) and Rosie (Georgia Henshaw) spot two new brothers that have just moved to Eastbourne from London. Fraternal twins Robbie (Aaron Johnson) and Tom (Sean Bourke). The girls follow the boys, who are exploring Eastbourne with their friend Dave "the Laugh" (Tommy Bastow).
Georgia hatches a plan to get close to Robbie. Realising that Robbie likes cats she pretends her cat, Angus, has gone missing. Jas has Angus on a leash, but he escapes and Tom rescues him. Jas and Tom begin dating while Robbie is seeing Georgia's rival Lindsay.
Georgia's father has been offered a job in New Zealand, and he goes to New Zealand to prepare for the family to move out with him. During his absence, Georgia's mum hires a handsome builder called Jem to re-do the living room, and begins to spend increasingly longer periods of time with him, making Georgia worried as to the state of her parents marriage.
In an attempt to "grow up" for Robbie, Georgia then goes to have "snogging lessons" with Peter Dyer (Liam Hess). He becomes infatuated with her and at a party the following night, he tries to kiss her, forcing her into a bush. Robbie, Lindsay, Jas and Tom see her on the ground with Peter. Tom invites Jas swimming with him and Robbie. Georgia conspires to meet them at the pool and brings her sister along as she is stuck babysitting her. While in the pool Robbie and Georgia kiss. Robbie then leaves, claiming that he has to "sort some things out" but that he will phone Georgia later.
A few weeks later Dave the Laugh invites Georgia to a gig for Robbie's band, the Stiff Dylans. After reading 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus' Georgia hatches a plan to make Robbie to realize his feelings for her by going to the gig with Dave the Laugh. Robbie tries to talk to Georgia at the gig, but is stopped by Lindsay.
At school, Dave finds out that Georgia was only using him to make Robbie jealous and so stops talking to her. When Dave tells Robbie that Georgia was only using Dave, he stops talking to her as well. When she finds out it was Jas that leaked this information, they have an argument, and they vow never to speak to each other again.
Feeling like there is no point in staying in England, Georgia decides that she would like to move to New Zealand. Before she leaves she goes to the beach for a walk knowing Robbie would be there and apologizes to him. Robbie admits that he still likes her.
In the end Georgia's mum takes her to a club for the first time and it turns out to be a surprise 15th birthday party. She is greeted by all her friends and her family. Her mother tells her that Jas organised it and Jas and Georgia decide to be friends again. As a surprise Georgia's father returns from New Zealand, deciding to stay in Eastbourne for a better job opportunity. The Stiff Dylans are performing the song "Ultraviolet" which Robbie had written about Georgia when they are interrupted by Lindsay who had come from her own party (which no one had turned up to) and tells Robbie that he should take her back or lose her forever. He tells her that Georgia is the one he wants, and he kisses Georgia on-stage.
REALLY NICE show..

Why is it nice??
1. cause it is nice =.="
2. cause it is interesting
3. cause the movie is full of leng cai

Beverly Hills Chihuahua

My sis and I went and watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua on the 18th of december in Sunway. A really nice movie.

Its all about a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua named Chloe which finds herself accidentally lost in the mean streets of Mexico without a day spa or Rodeo Drive boutique anywhere in sight. Now alone for the first time in her spoiled life, she must rely on some unexpected new friends -- including a street-hardened German Shepherd named Delgado and an amorous pup named Papi -- to lend her a paw and help her to find her...

KUMON CAMP 2008

TIRED!! I am exhausted. Just came back from kumon camp yesterday. It was a 3 days 2 night camp. I met lots of friends from all over Malaysia, including Penang, Melaka and Johor Bahru. Had a really fun time there.

Day 1
We gathered at KL Sentra at 8.30am and the bus departed at 10.00am. Arrived around 10.30am (a really short trip). After the bus stopped, we walked down the hill into Agrotek, Ulu Langat. On the way down the hill, some orang asli wearing mask jumped out of the bushes to scare us. Some of the students were afraid and shouted really loudly.
10.30-11am: Had 'breakfast' ( sandwiches)
11am-2pm: Ice breaking session and we were broke into 8 tribes and told to be called apache. The name of my group was GHOSTLY WOLF.
2-3pm: Check into to our rooms and had lunch.
3-6pm: Outdoor activities (made our own Tribal flag, logo, 'cry', totem tower and an aeroplane) We got 1st place for the best, strongest... aeroplane.
Guess what was our group's cry??
LONG LIVE GHOSTLY WOLF
GHOSTLY WOLF
GHOSTLY WOLF
AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
After that some of my friends and i went to try out the flying fox. The cables for the flying fox were 190m long (longest in Selangor) and 70m high in the air. It was my first time trying out flying fox and it was really fun.
6-7pm: Wash up
7-8pm: Dinner
8-9.30pm: Briefing and Talk on Gratitude and Forgiveness (We were also asked to write a Thank You card to Mummy, Daddy and my instructor, Ms Lee)
9.30-11pm: Night walk..This was actually my first time going into the jungle at night, kind of scary plus one tribe which is 30 apaches in a tribe were only allow to bring three torch. We put as much insect repellent as we can to prevent leaches from sucking our juicy blood. The jungle was mostly stream, so we were mostly in water. All of us came out wet but safely and I felt it was a really good experience for me.
11-11.45pm: Wash up and had supper
11.45-12pm: Short briefing on what time and where will we be meeting the next morning. We were told that we don't have to do kumon worksheets for that day.
12am.... Lights off and GOOD NIGHT
DAY 2

9am-12pm: The completers presentation, Motivational talk by Nigel(1 of the completers) & Goal Setting
12-2pm: lunch and get ready for the 'war' (outdoor activities against other tribes)
2-6pm: Outdoor activities.. Enjoy the swimming and the river rafting competition the most. We won the other tribe by 5-1.. GHOSTLY WOLF ROCKS!!!!!!!!
6-7pm: Free time..We went to the river to swim. I was pushed down into the river on purpose by my friends and the sole of my right foot got cut by the sharp rocks. But we still had a fun time. Some of them even carry the gals and swing them into the river..
7-8pm: Wash up
8-9pm: BBQ Dinner.. really YUMMY
9-10.30pm: Camp fire, THE HAKA COMPETITION (marks were given to the most creative HAKA) & the singing competition (it was all a tribe versus tribe competition)
GHOSTLY WOLF'S HAKA was like this...
Ka mate Ka mate
Kaore Kore
GHOSTLY WOLF GHOSTLY WOLF
Puruhu pu
A hupane hupane x2
Kaupane Fataneh Whiti Terah
10.30-11pm: supper, wash up
Actually we were supposed to sleep after that but our tribe have to stay up to make our presentation the next day a success. Slept around 3am and woke up at 6am, only got 3 hours of sleep.

Day 3
7.30-8.30am: Breakfast
8.30-11am: Presentations
After the presentation by each tribes, the results were out...
And guess WHAT..............................

All those pictures were actually taken in a restaurant named 'Full House'. Those are the decorations in the restaurant. The restaurant is situated in 'niu che shui'. My family and i had dinner there on the 8th of December. It was Hari Raya Korban, a public holiday.

My Pan-Sear Dorry Fish

After dinner, we went to the Festive Fun-Fantasy. Don't really know what was inside at first, but we felt really lame after going in. The whole place is actually only filled with statue of Disney characters. The tickets were RM10 for adults and RM5 for children. But we can actually use the tickets to change it with some souvenirs. And guess what, we exchange the tickets for a skirt for my sis and we got to pay a balance of RM19.90.

These were the photos we took:-

The entrance ticket

PLUTO

NEMO

p.s: took lots of pictures but lazy to put it up :P

We came out from the Festive Fun-Fantasy thingy, and went shopping at the shops in 'niu che shui' . The place were actually quite nice and happening. We went home at about 10pm.

Guess what, this 'holly' shoes actually costs RM 5.

Actually, i was suppose to stay back to help out with the grading thingy but i didn't do so cause i had to go to church (sorry for not helping out =P).

OMG! I look damn short in this photo. Can't even see my face.

Thanks for changing my belt for me.

p.s: The kind girl who helped me to change my belt is actually younger than me. OMG, i am so old.

Lunch at 'TOP HAT' & Genting trip

My family and I went to Genting on the 29th of November. We spent a night there. On the way up, we had lunch at a restaurant in KL known as 'TOP HAT'. The food there was super yummy and the decorations there was super nice, but the price was yucky. I think we actually pay to look at those decorations too. The 'TOP HAT' restaurant is actually situated in an old bungalow that makes it kind of unique.
These were some of the pictures we took there:

The Menu

The shocking bill

My sis and i at the entrance of the restaurant.

After lunch, we headed straight to Genting. We took a rest in one of the room in Theme Park Hotel. My youngest sis and i bought the Indoor theme park tickets to enjoy the rides while the rest of them when shopping. You will be thinking 'wah, you so rich can go shopping in Genting, the stuff there are like so damn expensive 0k.' Hey, but when i say shopping it is window shopping ok. The rides are actually kind of lame except for the bumper car and the roller coaster.

INDOOR

The reindeer

The next day, my youngest sis, mum and i bought the tickets for outdoor rides. My sis who is only 9 actually dare to sit the cyclone. We enjoy the rides until 10pm and went home. I prefer those trilling rides as compared to those lame indoor rides. Quite a fun trip though.

p.s: didn't take much photos
